Fergie Brought Her 4-Year-Old Along for an Interview and He Couldn’t Resist Fooling Around
With the launch of her first album in 11 years and an ultra-positive approach to her separation from husband Josh Duhamel, Fergie is at the top of her game. The Dutchess of Pop cemented her status as a multitasking pro on Monday when she brought her “little bodyguard” along for the press tour fun.

Fergie and Axl Jack, 4, ventured to the set of the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show to talk all things Double Dutchess, including the “passion project” she took up while working on the album.
“It’s been a lot of work,” Fergie said of her second solo album. “I got off tour—did five albums and toured the world—that was a lot. Got off tour and worked on this passion project named Axl Jack, who’s here today. Huge success. Definitely No. 1. He’s the sun we all revolve around—literally,” she joked.

Axl, red fidget spinner in hand, played the role of curious 4-year-old well—within less than two minutes he found his way beneath the table his mom and Duran sat at.
“Your son is licking my ankle,” Duran told his guest, and then quickly corrected himself: “Oh no, that’s my dog.”
“Today was bring your kid to work day, and so Axl’s really excited. He said to me, ‘Do they have toys?’” Fergie relayed—luckily, they did indeed (Nerf guns!). However, that didn’t stop the tot from making some fun of his own.
“Axl’s going through the trashcan, “ Elvis announced midway through the interview.

After emerging from beneath the table toward the end of the session, Fergie’s son made an incredibly apt declaration: “Mommy, you’re a superhero now!
“That’s right, I’m a superhero—Super F!” the Dutchess responded.
Super F to the rescue—thanks for saving the charts from an 11-year Fergie drought! Listen to and watch the full interview at top.
