5,700 Mature Trees Won’t Be Cut, Instead Transplanted Elsewhere To Build Dwarka Expressway

In what could pave way for better management of trees for development purposes, 5,700 fully grown trees will be transplanted elsewhere to build the Dwarka Expressway, providing another link to Gurgaon.

This perhaps is the biggest transplantation drive in the country.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has close to three to four months to finish the job and while officials say they are on the job, they insist that an extension in time is required in order to save maximum trees.

Experts said the process took one to one-and-a-half years and there was no need to take care of the transplanted trees any further.Click Here: IQOS White
