The terror attack on a Central Reserve Paramilitary Force (CRPF) convoy in Pulwama, in February, was one of the deadliest of its kind targeting the Indian security forces.
The attack, which left more than 40 CRPF men dead also exposed how vulnerable the paramilitary troops are. This is not just in Jammu and Kashmir, but also in the Naxal-affected areas where their convoys come under IED attacks.
