Daughter killed just before wedding

A father in Kerala stabbed his 21-year-old daughter to death just before her marriage. The reason? Her affair with a man from another caste. On Thursday, the police arrested the accused P. Rajan. The police suspect an honor killing and said that Rajan had opposed his daughter P. Athira’s love affair with an Army man from Koyilandi who belongs to another caste. He had agreed for the marriage as Athira stuck to her stand.
