Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey Keeping Feud Alive On Twitter
Even though they are set to have their hands full with title defenses at the upcoming WWE TLC pay-per-view in San Jose, RAW Women’s Champ Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champ Becky Lynch have not forgotten each other on Twitter.
They tweeted shots at each other on Monday as Rousey was teaming with Ember Moon to defeat Nia Jax and Tamina on RAW from Houston. Rousey is set to face Jax at TLC on Sunday, Dec. 16. Meanwhile, Lynch will take on Charlotte Flair and Asuka in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match at TLC for the Blue Brand title. Lynch kicked off the insults by asking how the division she lets Rousey run was doing. Rousey fired back with another “#millenialman” jab and poking fun of Lynch’s absence from the ring the past few weeks. Lynch returned fire again by saying when she took the punch to her face it knocked her out, but she didn’t need to be conscious to keep beating on Rousey. Here’s the thread:
Hey Ronnie?! My division is on fire over here. Everyone thinks they’re a badass all of a sudden. How’s the division that I let you run going? pic.twitter.com/8ts34cm8T3

Oh you talking about that time you showed up to #Raw trying to look tough and left with your face caved in? That’s some more #BackwardsBullshitBecky – Keep hiding behind your Dr’s note while the #ArmTaker handles your #FaceBreaker

It will be interesting to see how TLC plays out and if WWE can keep the momentum up in this feud into what has been rumored as a potential WrestleMania 35 main event match.
There are some wondering out loud whether it would be the time to have Asuka emerge victorious at TLC to leave Lynch or Flair free to win Royal Rumble and have an easier path to set up Lynch vs Rousey or a triple threat between Lynch, Rousey and Flair. That would also have the upside of helping Asuka out of the purgatory her career has been in since the loss of momentum from her streak-ending loss to Flair at WrestleMania this year. We will just have to stay tuned.
