Rousey Likely To Win Title Soon, Two Potential SummerSlam Matches

On a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, both hosts speculated that Ronda Rousey is going to defeat Alexa Bliss for The RAW Women’s Title at SummerSlam. Dave Meltzer added that WWE is paying Rousey way too much money to not be champion and they are still trying to get her even more over with WWE fans.
Dave Meltzer also adds that Jeff Hardy, while injured, is going to be working house shows this week and the angle on SmackDown isn’t an injury angle to write him out of storylines. The speculation is that at SummerSlam, we may see a Triple Threat Match for The WWE United States Title between Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton & Jeff Hardy.
The Miz and Daniel Bryan are looking to be facing off at SummerSlam as well in a one-on-one match. There was some thought that this match would be pushed back until later this year or possibly even next year’s WrestleMania, but after developments on SmackDown, it’s almost a lock to happen next month.
