Impact of Cena & Nikki’s Breakup on Total Divas’ Next Season

With John Cena and Nikki Bella having officially and recently broken up, an awkward situation presents itself with Total Divas, which has a new season debuting on May 20th that was supposed to be revolving around the two planning their wedding and ending the season with the wedding itself.
However, because Total Divas doesn’t have cameras around filming the couple all the time, they will have to recreate the breakup, film it and then air it on the show for the mass audience to see. At this time, it is unknown whether it will be a completely fake version of the actual breakup or something that closely mimics the real reasons. Either way, most viewers will take the on-screen breakup as the “real” breakup, even though that likely won’t be the case.
