WWE Money in the Bank officially not taking place in Baltimore

As expected, next month’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view won’t be taking place at its originally scheduled venue.

The Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland confirmed today that — due to the coronavirus pandemic — they won’t be hosting Money in the Bank: “The WWE Money in the Bank event originally scheduled for Sunday, May 10 in Baltimore has been cancelled. Refunds are available at all points of purchase.”

Earlier this week, WWE.com hyped up Money in the Bank without mentioning the location for the PPV: “WWE Money in the Bank is coming on Sunday, May 10. Since the event’s introduction in 2010, Money in the Bank has become one of WWE’s most anticipated cards of the year, thanks in large part to the Men and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, in which the victors will earn the right to cash in a guaranteed title opportunity against a World Champion. What insanity will take place this year as the Superstars of WWE throw caution to the wind in the pursuit of championship glory?”

There haven’t been any matches announced for Money in the Bank yet.

WWE is set to resume closed set television tapings at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida tomorrow. They’ll be taping multiple weeks of TV over the next week.
