Backstage News on When Lesnar vs. Strowman May Actually Happen

It was previously reported that Brock Lesnar may face Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam. If Brock Lesnar would drop the Universal Title to Reigns at SummerSlam, it would definitely cancel his title defenses against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. Both of these opponents have been teased over the last month and planned for later this year or early next year.
If Roman Reigns vs. John Cena would in fact happen in WWE SummerSlam as was previously reported, we could see Lesnar face Braun Strowman at WWE SummerSlam. As of the moment, the fact that Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman has been nixed for SummerSlam could mean that WWE is saving that match for a future PPV, such as the Royal Rumble in 2018 or perhaps even next year’s WrestleMania.
