Lance Archer will get the next AEW World title shot.
Archer won tonight’s 21 man battle royal, last eliminating Eddie Kingston. The two ended up on the apron, trying to eliminate one another. As a result of tonight’s win, Archer will get a future AEW World title match. The championship is set to be defended later tonight, with champion Jon Moxley defending against MJF.
Archer’s last high profile title match was at Double or Nothing in May, losing to Cody in the TNT title tournament finals.
