WWE SmackDown video highlights: Reigns & Uso vs. Corbin & Sheamus

Roman Reigns & Jey Uso defeated Baron Corbin & Sheamus in the main event of last night’s SmackDown, but Reigns wasn’t there for his cousin for most of the match.

Corbin and Sheamus interrupting Reigns and Uso in last night’s opening segment set up a tag team match for later in the show. But like he did at Payback, Reigns didn’t come out for the match until it was almost over. As Sheamus was going for a Brogue Kick, Reigns’ music hit and he made his entrance with Paul Heyman. Uso gained control after that distraction. He hit a splash off the top rope on Sheamus, but Reigns tagged himself in when Uso was going for the move.

Reigns came into the ring, hit a spear on Sheamus, and pinned him to get the win.

As they were on the stage after the match, Uso raised Reigns’ arm in the air. Reigns wasn’t happy with Uso touching the arm that his Universal Championship was in.

Reigns also didn’t help Uso when Uso fought off Corbin and Sheamus in the opening segment.

Reigns will defend the Universal title against Uso at Clash of Champions on Sunday, September 27.
