Report: Chris Jericho Returning to NJPW This Weekend

— Despite publicly stating otherwise, Chris Jericho is scheduled to return this weekend to NJPW at their Wrestling Dontaku event in Fukuoka, reports PW Insider. It is expected that he will take part in an angle that will then lead to his return to the ring for NJPW at next month’s Dominion event in Osaka.

— The odds are likely that Jericho will continue his feud against IWGP Intercontinental champion Tetsuya Naito, who Jericho attacked in January in his last appearance for New Japan. Jericho then went on record to state that further talks with NJPW had broken off and that he would not be returning, and since then he appeared for WWE at the Greatest Royal Rumble and further suggested that he would be taking a break before continuing touring with his band, Fozzy. Obviously all that was just to throw people off.
