Videos: Rey Mysterio Appears At NJPW: Strong Style Evolved, Makes Promise
Although a biceps injury kept him from competing, Rey Mysterio still appeared as the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Strong Style Evolved event over the weekend.
Mysterio came out and surprised the crowd, cutting a promo promising that he will be wrestling in a NJPW ring as soon as he is able to.
The wrestling veteran sat ringside to watch the Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Will Ospreay match, as Mysterio was originally scheduled to face off against Liger.
After the match, Ospreay challenged Mysterio to a match, promising he would put his IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship on-the-line.
