Adam Cole Gets 7 Staples In His Head, Drew McIntyre Comments
At the NXT live event in Austin, Texas earlier this week, The Undisputed ERA’s Adam Cole suffered a wound on his head that required seven staples. The next night, Cole went on to lose to Drew McIntyre in a one-on-one match for the NXT Championship, which featured WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels as a special guest referee.
Following the match, McIntyre took to social media to comment on defeating Cole, as well as his injury from the night before their bout.
“Not much left to say,” wrote McIntyre. “I know [Adam Cole] got seven staples in his head last night but I also know, just like he waited for the right stage to debut at my expense, I’ve waited for this stage to ensure he regrets that decision for the rest of his life #NXTSanAntonio.”
