Judge To Determine If Jimmy Snuka Is Competent Enough To Stand Trial

Lehigh County, Pennsylvania County Judge Kelly Banach began hearing testimony recently to determine whether or not WWE Hall Of Famer “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka is competent to stand trial.

Dr. Frank M. Dattilio, a psychologist hired by Snuka’s defense team, is claiming that Snuka is “a shell of a man” and is “worsening by the month” because of dementia. Dattilio went on to say that Snuka is “unable to understand the legal process.”

As reported months ago, Snuka has been charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter for the 1983 death of Nancy Argentino, Snuka’s longtime friend and traveling companion.

A Mcall.com story notes that the judge is not expected to rule on Snuka’s competency today.
