It looks as if TNA Wrestling’s recent deal with troubled Tennessee Titans Cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones could already be in jeopardy of not happening. According to an article by The Tennessean, if Jones enters a TNA wrestling ring he will be in direct violation of his contract with the Tennessee Titans. Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher told the newspaper, “That type of thing is not permitted in accordance with the player’s contract.”

Initial reports suggested that Jeff Jarrett and TNA had cleared Jones’ signing with the company through the Tennessee Titans organization. Sources within TNA had said that there were plans for Jones to be utilized at least once as a wrestler. It is certainly a possibility that the Titans have had second thoughts.

TNA’s Public Relations director Steve Godrey told The Tennessean, “We have no comment right now. But a TNA statement is forthcoming in the next couple of days regarding the situation.”
