Belair to make WM decision on WWE SmackDown, two tag matches set

Bianca Belair’s WrestleMania opponent will become official on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.

WWE has announced that Belair will make her WrestleMania 37 decision on SmackDown tonight. Belair won this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match after entering at number three. She was in the match for nearly 57 minutes and last eliminated Rhea Ripley to get the win. 

At Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Belair & SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks unsuccessfully challenged for Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler’s Women’s Tag Team titles. Belair has largely interacted with Banks since winning the Royal Rumble, though she did also have an interaction with Raw Women’s Champion Asuka.

Men’s Royal Rumble winner Edge speared Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber and declared that he’s challenging for Reigns’ title at WrestleMania 37. WrestleMania 37 is a two-night event that’s taking place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11.

WWE has also announced two tag matches for tonight’s SmackDown. The Street Profits will face Sami Zayn & Baron Corbin, while Rey & Dominik Mysterio will take on Chad Gable & Otis. Gable & Otis got disqualified against Rey & Dominik last week when Otis wouldn’t listen to the referee’s five count and leave the ring. With Gable’s encouragement, Otis then gave Rey a splash from the middle rope after the match.
