Last night’s SmackDown on Fox averaged 2.01 million viewers in the fast national ratings. That’s down 7.2 percent from last week and is the show’s lowest overnight number since February 12.

SmackDown drew a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 16.7 percent from last week’s overnight rating. The show was tied for second among network programming in 18-49.

In the 18-34 demo, SmackDown drew the same 0.3 overnight rating that it did last week. That tied several other shows for the top spot on the networks.

Though SmackDown usually finishes last among network programming in total viewers, that didn’t happen last night. A repeat of CBS’ Clarice averaged 1.53 million viewers.

Year-over-year, SmackDown was down 22.3 percent in total viewers. That episode from this week in 2020 had a lot of curiosity, being the first WWE event of the pandemic era with no fans in attendance.

SmackDown was down 28.6 percent in the 18-49 demo from the same week last year and down 40 percent in 18-34.

Here’s a look at the last 10 weeks of overnight viewership and key demo numbers for SmackDown:
