Austin Theory Returns To WWE NXT, Big Match Set For Next Week
Former EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory returned to Full Sail University this Wednesday night on WWE NXT, but the young star was quickly interrupted by an irate and impatient Tommaso Ciampa.
Ciampa took to the ring and immediately began ranting and raving about being attacked by his on-again, off-again best friend and/or mortal enemy, Johnny Gargano, this past Sunday night at NXT Takeover: Portland.
Theory did try to interject, but paid the price. And by “paid the price” we mean absolutely brutalized at the hands of the so-called “Psycho Killer”. A match between the two has officially been announced for next Wednesday, Feb. 26th.

Theory debuted on NXT television in December, challenging Roderick Strong for the North American title in a highly-touted championship match. He also scored a big win over Jaoquin Wilde on Jan. 8th.
While in the middle of responding to the shocking actions of @JohnnyGargano at #NXTTakeOver: Portland, @NXTCiampa soon turned his target on @austintheory1. #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/hoqYZDEWDZ
