Post-WrestleMania WWE Raw Viewership Down More Than 25% From 2018
This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was watched by an average of 2,924,000 viewers, the highest number of the year so far, featuring all the fallout from a monstrous 7-hour WrestleMania extravaganza.
Unfortunately, the good news stops there. Raw only topped 2019 viewership by about 2,000 people and was the lowest watched post-WrestleMania episode of the modern era.
To put things in perspective, this week’s show was down a whopping 25.4% from the 2018 post-WrestleMania show, and only managed to break the 3 million viewer threshold for the first hour.
The third hour was down over 500,000 viewers, so WWE’s obvious ploy to keep people around with the advertised “Winner Take All” main event, that was quickly scrapped and turned into a heavily criticized tag team match, didn’t work.
