Backstage Fight Reportedly Breaks Out at ROH Steel City Excellence, Cody Rhodes Comments

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a fight broke out backstage at last weekend’s ROH Steel City Excellence tapings, and it resulted in numerous stars, including Cody Rhodes, expressing their unhappiness with the incident on social media.

The Observer reports that an extra being used at the TV tapings apparently sat in Christopher Daniels’ chair in the locker room, and when he was told to get up, then refused, the fight broke out. The fight involved the extra and Flip Gordon, who has a background in MMA, and it’s said the fight ended quite quickly with Gordon getting the upper hand.

Apparently some food was stepped on during the fight, which resulted in the following social media jokes about the incident and the “death” of Cody Rhodes’ Chipotle:
