Ring Of Honor star, Jay Lethal recently spoke to ROH for an exclusive interview where he revealed how he feels about being a veteran in the locker room amongst other topics.
Below are some highlights from the interview with a h/t to WrestleZone.com for the transcription.
Being A Veteran
“I don’t consider myself to be anything more or less than anyone on our roster. We are all on the same playing field to me. We all strive hard every day to make Ring of Honor better than it was the day before.”
Best Advice He Has Received
“Kevin Nash told me, “If you’re not having fun, then what is the point?” I didn’t fully grasp it until a few years later when I realized that I could have fun and work hard at the same time.”
His First Wrestling Memory
“The first memory I have of pro wrestling is sitting on my mom’s bed with my brother getting ready for wrestling to come on. I think it was a Saturday, the cartoon “X-Men” was on, which was the lead-in. I remember being so excited for wrestling. I think I was also excited because my older brother was so excited.”
