Michy Batshuayi wants AS Monaco move, but offers continue to rain in

Belgian international striker Michy Batshuayi has informed Chelsea representatives of his desire to move to AS Monaco on loan until the end of the season, but the Blues have been hit with such a large volume of offers for the former Marseille man that they are delaying giving the all clear, according to RMC.

Bids from Fiorentina (loan, no option to buy) and Napoli (loan, with option to buy) as well as a persistence on Premier League club Everton’s part to attempt to purchase Michy outright has given Chelsea food for thought, even though the player is set on reuniting with Thierry Henry following their time together in the Belgium national team.

The Belgian had been expected to sign no later than yesterday with Monaco, and the deal is entirely prepped barring the authorisation of the FIFA TMS system, but it is clear that other bids have slowed down a deal.

RMC remain confident that Batshuayi will join Monaco on loan until the end of the season.
