OGC Nice to go against Patrick Vieira’s wishes & sell Adrien Tameze to Cardiff City for €9m
In recent hours, OGC Nice’s Chinese-American owners appear to have taken a decisive position on the future of defensive midfielder Adrien Tameze (24), according to L’Équipe.

Les Aiglons, who had rebuffed the initial propositions from the Welsh club at the beginning of the window at the request of the player, appear to be actively pushing the Frenchman to accept Cardiff’s proposal.
Tameze, who had been looking for Nice to offer him a contract extension, now appears on the verge of a €9m move to Cardiff City, despite manager Patrick Vieira consistent attempts to veto the deal.
On top of a deal for Tameze, Cardiff have now made concrete steps to sign 22-year-old versatile defender Almamy Touré from AS Monaco. Touré’s current contract expires in June & he has no intention to sign a new deal with the Principality club.
