Official | Prince Oniangué joins Angers on loan from Wolves

Prince Oniangué has joined Angers on a six month loan deal from Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, without an option to buy.

The 29-year-old joined Wolves back in 2016 from Reims for just under £2m, but spent the whole of last season on loan at Bastia as they were relegated from Ligue 1. Whilst Oniangué is only joining on loan, this will be the second time in his career that the central midfielder will play for SCO as he spent the 2009/2010 season on loan at the club from Rennes.

The Congo International is a very experienced Ligue 1 player who will add a lot to an Angers side looking to move themselves away from the relegation places, and with over 100 Ligue 1 appearances under his belt, Oniangué will give SCO the required experience.

He will be presented to the media on Friday January 5th in Quiberon and will wear the number six shirt for Angers.
