Lorient winger Maxime Barthlelmé set for Châteauroux

Maxime Barthelmé is set to leave Lorient and join Chateauroux, according to Yahoo Sport FR.

The 28-year-old has been with Lorient since 2009 after joining on a free transfer from Racing club de Paris, but his time at the club seems to be coming to an end. After making 125 appearances for Lorient, where he scored six goals and provided 16 assists,Barthelmé could be heading to fellow Ligue 2 club Chateauroux.

Barthelmé is capable of filling in at multiple positions, including as a left midfielder and as left back, and will add a new level of versatility to the side.
