Boxpark Marketplace wins award

Pop-up shopping mall Boxpark in Shoreditch has won an award for ‘Best
New eCommerce Retailer’ in the eCommerce Awards for Excellence for its
Boxpark Marketplace platform, which launched earlier this year.

The marketplace provides small independent retailers with an omnichannel
solution in association with Magento, Paypal and EE. It allows retailers
including Patagonia, Vagabond and Farah Vintage to connect the physical and
the digital by providing them with a fully integrated iPad POS, online
marketplace and mobile app enabling them to engage with consumers across
multiple touch points, in-store, online and mobile.

Accepting the award, Boxpark founder Roger Wade said: “I’m delighted to
win this award. Boxpark Marketplace is a revolutionary Omnichannel platform
for small independents. It will hopefully allow the small retailer to
compete with the high street.”

Other winners at the eCommerce Awards for Excellence included
SportsPursuit.com for ‘Best Mcommerce Campaign’ and Chalk Social won the
‘Best Clothes, Shoes & Fashion eCommerce’ for its Warehouse Style Me If You
Can campaign.
