Why Celine Dion Has No Advice for Lady Gaga Ahead of Her Las Vegas Residency
Las Vegas is getting even an influx of star power later this year, once Lady Gaga begins her residency with a two-year concert series. But not all Vegas stars are bombarding her with advice.
Case in point: Celine Dion.
Dion has had a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on and off since 2002, but she’s planning to give Gaga any advice on taking on Sin City—namely because she doesn’t think Gaga needs it.

“Do I have advice for Lady Gaga? No!” Dion said during CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live broadcast with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on Sunday. “This girl knows exactly what she’s doing, She knows what to do! And I will never, ever, ever in my whole life tell someone professional—super talented like she is—how to do things.”
While Dion isn’t looking to advise Gaga, she didn’t rule out the possibility of a duet with the star (be still our music-loving hearts). When Cohen broached the subject of an all-star collaboration, Dion was more than happy to entertain the thought.

“Oooh don’t get me started now. I would love that. I love her so much,” Dion said. “I can’t wait. Come on Lady Gaga, we’re waiting for you!”
The holidays may be over, but that collab on the top of our wish lists. If there’s a surefire way to make sure 2018 is one for the books, that’s it.
