You know how Zara will have that universally flattering $20 dress that comes in five colors and you decide it’s probably worthwhile to buy them all and just hope no one notices?

Well, that’s how Jennifer Lopez appears to be operating these days—only, instead of a $20 dress, it’s a $1,500 tracksuit.

J.Lo, 48, is one of the most prominent fashion icons of our time (remember the green Versace gown?), but lately she’s been opting for matching basics in place of her typical glitz and glam.

On Wednesday, the singer and actress stepped out in N.Y.C. wearing a white Olivia Von Halle tracksuit (see below).

It really wasn’t what we were expecting from a woman who’d worn a red latex crop top just days prior, but we figured she was in relaxation mode.

But then, on Thursday, J.Lo the tracksuit-wearer struck again!

She was spotted on the streets of Brooklyn in a gray tracksuit, this one from her Kohl’s collection (sweater: $40; kohls.com; pants: $40; kohls.com), suede boots, silver aviators, and an Hermès handbag (elevating her look to icon status).
