OL’s Jeff Reine-Adélaïde to join Sevilla

Once the hope of Lyon supporters and an up-and-coming star amongst young French players, Jeff Reine-Adélaïde, seems to be on the move from the club that spent €25 million on his transfer from Angers. According to reports from Loïc Tanzi, the 25-year-old midfielder is headed to Sevilla.

The former Arsenal academy product will go on loan to the La Liga club with a €12 million option to buy. Medical evaluations will begin tomorrow. Last season he was also on loan with Nice who declined to pick up the €25 million option to buy for the following season. While with OL the midfielder has made 41 appearances for the club but failed to find his place amongst the starters.

No fault of his own the french midfielder has dealt with several injuries and has not had the chance to regain the form he had while with Angers. Still a very talented player and only 25-years-old he has the talent and ability to turn things around outside of Ligue 1.
