Florian Thauvin considering Valencia, as Arsenal’s attentions turn to Nicolas Pépé
La Provence report that 26-year-old French winger Florian Thauvin is considering a move to La Liga side Valencia.
Under contract until 2021 with OM, Thauvin feels good with the Vélodrome side, but that does not stop him from thinking about a transfer if the right clubs approach.
Things have not moved all window for the French World Cup winner so far. Arsenal did enquire, but quickly turned their attentions to Nicolas Pépé.
Last week, Valencia made a concrete approach for the player. The Spanish side’s Champions’ League football and impressive potential contract on offer have enticed Thauvin somewhat. He is tempted and is seriously thinking about this and how it might augment his chances of obtaining his principal aims: making EURO 2020.
