Dani Alves agrees to sign new deal with PSG

As reported by ESPN and RMC, 35-year-old Brazilian full-back Dani Alves has agreed a contract extension with PSG which will run until 2020 and could be further extended by another year if both parties agree until 2021.

The player’s entourage claims that Alves’ decision is based on Les Parisiens’ Champions’ League exit to Manchester United two weeks ago, with his desire to win the tournament with the Ligue 1 leaders.

The former Juventus & Barcelona player injured himself on Sunday in Le Classique and had to withdraw from the Brazilian national team squad as a result.
