Speaking to TF1 last night, member of France’s World Cup winning squad Adil Rami discussed the now infamous fire extinguisher fight that Les Bleus engaged in on the night of their Round of 16 victory over Argentina.

“The story about the extinguisher at the hotel, that was my fault. I was playing Fortnite in my room and the others were going from door to door to wake everyone up. Benjamin Mendy tried to block me from closing my door, I took my extinguisher, sprayed it everyone and then it was like Ghostbusters. There was smoke everywhere, it was like a shisha. All the security arrived to evacuate the hotel. I thought that I was going to be fired from the national team.”
