Partizan win derby thriller
Partizan has gone top of the table after a thrilling win over rivals Vojvodina at the Sports Centre Sumice in front of over 700 fans.

Partizan came back from being a set down on two occasions to win a hard fought match which could have gone either way. Vojvodina made too many mistakes at the end of the match and that cost them the victory.
In the first set Vojvodina led 21:12 and it was just a matter of time before they took a 1:0 lead but Partizan never gave up and the teams determination earned them equalling the score 24:24 but Vojvodina didn?t give their rivals an impressive comeback win and took out the set 26:24
The next three sets were all played with a high tempo and the crowd was treated to an excellent match of Volleyball, Steljic and Djordjevic of Partizan picked up the pace in the second set and equalled the match at one set a piece after playing some exceptional volleyball.
The third set was tight throughout. Partizan had a chance to take the lead at 19:19 after Vojvodina led by two but a mistake by Atanasijevic who couldn?t take advantage of a rally gave Vojvodina the initiative and when the reds captain Milos Vemic gave his side the third set it was looking like a defeat to Partizan who buckled under pressure against their rivals from Novi Sad.
Vojvodina led throughout the fourth set and where on course for the win until Partizan got back in the match thanks to great serves. Partizan took the set after a great block from Steljic to equal proceedings and take the match to a deciding fifth set.
In the tiebreak Partizan had the advantage from the start and roared on by the home fans it was going to be hard for them not to take it out but Vojvodina was not going to give up so easy and took the match to the wire and it wasn?t until 15:14, when Partizan finally took advantage of the match point thanks to a Atanasijevic block and by doing so take top spot.
