Mavericks Tied for Eighth in NWCA Poll

Mankato, Minn. — The Minnesota State wrestling team is tied for eighth in the 2019-20 NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association Top 25 Poll released on Wednesday.

Minnesota State has five individuals ranked at their respective weight classes, including junior Kyle Rathman (Apple Valley, Minn.), who is rated second at 149 lbs.

Senior Logan Saltou is ranked sixth at 165 lbs., senior Matthew Blome is ranked sixth at 197 lbs., senior Zach Johnston is ranked eighth at 174 lbs., and senior Louie Sanders (141 lbs.) is ranked ninth.

Next action for the Mavericks is the Buena Vista Open on Dec. 7.
