Nigel Farage says Theresa May ‘not made of same stuff’ as Donald Trump, calls Michael Cohen ‘scumbag’
Nigel Farage compared investigations into Donald Trump to attempts to block Brexit as he barnstormed the biggest conservative conference of the year in Washington.
Mr Farage received a rapturous welcome at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) as he vowed to continue "fighting" for an on-time departure from the EU.
He also called the pursuit of Mr Trump "disgusting" and said Michael Cohen, the president’s former fixer who has turned on him, was a "scumbag".
Speaking to The Telegraph, Mr Farage said there was a strong similarity between Labour and the US Democrats as they lurched to the left.
