Vince McMahon’s Hall Of Fame Induction Date Potentially Revealed
WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon is the most powerful man in the company right now, which means that if he wanted to add himself to the annual WWE Hall Of Fame Class, then he could, but this doesn’t seem as though it will be the case. There are a number of interesting names who are not in The WWE Hall Of Fame as of yet including The Rock, Vader, Chyna, Owen Hart and even Vince McMahon himself. It is, in fact, The Chairman Of The Board that chooses the class every year and has selected the names that have taken their place amongst the elite of wrestling over the past few decades.
McMahon recently returned to television to announce that WWE was unveiling a new era in the company and has now been part of both RAW & SmackDown LIVE this week, which is encouraging for fans of the former WWE Champion. Vince McMahon has given himself a number of accolades over the years and with good reason since he is the brain that has turned his father’s company into a multi-million dollar business almost single-handedly.
Dave Meltzer recently discussed the topic on the most recent episode of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter where he revealed that he believed McMahon would be a posthumous induction.
“Vince McMahon will be in that Hall Of Fame as soon as he passes away, we all know that. He’s not gonna put himself in because he’s already given himself enough awards. Like when he gave himself that award at Madison Square Garden for being the genius who created WrestleMania… that was awesome,” Meltzer said via Ringsidenews.
The WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony for 2019 is now mere months away and the names will begin being released following The Royal Rumble, with the likes of Triple H, Vader and The Rock expected to be part of next year’s class.
