Natalya Says Women Will Headline WM35, Total Bellas Premiere Date

The women in WWE have come a long way from where they once were on WWE television. The days of short and pointless matches involving the women are long gone now, and “Divas” have been left in the past. The female athletes are known as WWE Superstars now, and they have competed in their own Money in the Bank, Hell in a Cell, Royal Rumble, and Elimination Chamber matches in recent years. Additionally, WWE even hosted their very first all-women’s pay-per-view called Evolution this past October. Although the “Women’s Revolution” in WWE has certainly been effective so far, there is one more major goal left for the female roster members to accomplish: headline a WrestleMania event.
No women’s match has ever closed out WWE’s biggest event of the year, but there have reportedly been some talks about changing that statistic in the near future. While speaking with The Wrap, current Raw Superstar Natalya was asked about the possibility of a WrestleMania show being headlined by women. Not only does the in-ring veteran believe that this will happen someday, but she thinks that it will be taking place very soon. Natalya outright stated that she believes that a women’s match will finish WrestleMania 35. Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey and Rousey vs. Becky Lynch are two reported matches that are being discussed for WrestleMania 35, but there is still no word on whether or not either of those matches will be closing out the event.
Nikki and Brie Bella returned to the ring earlier this year after spending a few years keeping themselves occupied with other projects. However, the Bella Twins are still huge parts of the Total Divas reality series on the E! network, and they have their very own spinoff show on the same network, Total Bellas. Just as much drama and gossip continues in the latter series. Fortunately for fans who cannot get enough of The Bellas, PWInsider has been able to confirm that Total Bellas will be coming back for a brand new fourth season. The show will be debuting on January 20th, 2019, and it is expected to focus on the sisters returning for more matches before Nikki Bella’s match against Ronda Rousey at Evolution from this past October.
