Lawler, Ross, & Phoenix at WM, Keith Lee Updates Fans, Bryan News

Several fans consider the team of Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jim Ross to be among the greatest wrestling announcers of all time. Ross and Lawler did both appear in guest commentator roles during last year’s WrestleMania broadcast, leading some fans to wonder if the two WWE Hall of Famers will be returning to do more announcing during this year’s show. WWE has just confirmed that Ross and Lawler will be announcing one match during the Kickoff show. Lawler and Ross will be joined by fellow Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix to announce the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal. The Kickoff show for WrestleMania will begin at 5pm ET this Sunday night.

It was certainly intriguing to learn that independent wrestling standout Keith Lee will be competing during WWE’s Fan Axxess convention this weekend. Lee’s participation at Axxess this weekend is definitely something to keep an eye on. Unfortunately, Lee has run into a bit of a problem getting to New Orleans for all of the festivities as Lee just confirmed on Twitter that he was involved in a car accident earlier today. Fortunately, Lee has indicated that the accident does not appear to be too serious as he will still be in Louisiana this weekend to appear at all of the events he is scheduled for. Lee will be facing NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno at Fan Axxess later this weekend.

Just wanted to chime in. Yes. I was in a car accident earlier today. Thank you for all the concern and support.
But there is NO WAY I miss ANY matches this weekend!
And for further positivity, @DonovanDijak found me a decent place to eat! Thanks bro! Off to Bourbon St.

WWE made the shocking announcement a few weeks back informing fans that Daniel Bryan had been cleared by WWE doctors to immediately return to the ring after being forced into retirement due to head injuries a few years prior. WWE wasted little time getting Bryan back into the ring as he will be teaming up with Shane McMahon to face Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania this weekend. Bryan is now back in the ring training for his pro wrestling comeback, and WWE just released a video featuring Bryan attempting to pull of a top rope backflip for the first time in over three years. Bryan was able to perform the feat, but it will be interesting to see him attempt it again during his match this Sunday night.
