Undertaker Wrestling at Survivor Series? Goldust Update, Irma/NXT

We have been hearing the rumors of Undertaker returning now so many times, but now another one has been reported. Though it certainly appeared as if The Undertaker retired at this year’s Wrestlemania event, multiple rumors of him training in the ring for a comeback have been going around. Dirty Sheets is now reporting that WWE is indeed planning on putting together a new match for The Undertaker against John Cena at Survivor Series this November. They claim that the match was first setup when Cena called Undertaker “an old man with a bad hip” a few weeks ago, but it was also mentioned that Cena may not be available for the pay-per-view due to some film commitments that he has lined up.
Ever since he turned his back on his former partner, R-Truth, Goldust has made a return to his old ‘Hollywood’ gimmick. In fact, Goldust even teased that he would soon be revealing a protege of sorts at SummerSlam, teasing “will I find my next hero, my next villain, or perhaps a beautiful new starlet?” Despite this, the angle did not take place at SummerSlam, nor has it been mentioned since. When asked about the angle on Twitter, Goldust gave a response that seemed to indicate that the storyline was put on hold, but it has not been forgotten about just yet. There is no word on who this protege may be, so if the storyline does continue, it could turn out to be just about anyone.

NXT has been touring on the road all over Florida for years, and they also tour all over the United States as well. Unfortunately, Hurricane Irma is approaching Florida rapidly. The hurricane is reported to be one of the strongest ever recorded, and the state of Florida has been declared as being under a state of emergency. As a result, WWE announced that NXT live events scheduled in Daytona Beach on September 8th, and in Crystal River on September 9th have been postponed. NXT live events scheduled in Lakeland on September 14th, and Dade City on September 15th have also been postponed. In the case of the Dade City event, the show has been rescheduled for October 5th. Tickets purchased for the September 15th show will still be honored on that night.
