New IC Title Debuts, Post-Smackdown Note, New NXT WarGames Match Announced

— As was rumored and previously reported, WWE debuted a new Intercontinental title during a segment on last night’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown. — Last night after Smackdown ended, there was a D-Generation X reunion of sorts. The brawl that continued to the back, leaving only Baron Corbin in the ring, so out came Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg in NXT t-shirts. They asked Corbin to join D-X but ended up nailing him with their finishers. Check out exclusive video footage of this entire post-show segment HERE.

— WWE announced that Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Angel Garza has been added to the WWE NXT Takeover: Wargames scheduled for later tonight.
