— Here is tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live preview:

Kofi Kingston to clash with Kevin Owens

The next chapter in the rivalry between WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens will be written on SmackDown LIVE, as the two will clash in one-on-one action.

Though Kingston emerged victorious from their championship battle at WWE Money in the Bank, matters are apparently not settled between the two Superstars. But Kingston’s condition heading into the match has to be questioned, as the WWE Champion was once again attacked by his Super ShowDown opponent, Dolph Ziggler, last night on Raw.

Can Kingston fight through the pain and defeat his rival, or will KO put himself in line for another championship opportunity?

Dolph Ziggler to appear on “The Kevin Owens Show”

And if facing the WWE Champion wasn’t enough for KO, he’ll also be welcoming Kofi Kingston’s Super ShowDown opponent, Dolph Ziggler, to “The Kevin Owens Show.”

After viciously attacking Kingston on last week’s SmackDown LIVE and last night’s Raw, as well as brutally assaulting Xavier Woods with a chair on Monday, what will Ziggler have to say as next Friday’s championship match draws near?

Bayley goes one-on-one with Raw’s Lacey Evans

Tonight on SmackDown LIVE, The Hugger will go one-on-one with Raw’s Sassy Southern Belle, Lacey Evans. Last week, Bayley teamed up with Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to defeat Evans & Charlotte Flair. Will the result be the same in this singles bout?

How will Roman Reigns respond to Shane McMahon and his “insurance policy”?

Roman Reigns looked to have Shane McMahon in his sights last week on SmackDown LIVE, only for Raw’s Drew McIntyre to blindside him with a devastating Claymore Kick.

The antagonism toward The Big Dog continued on Raw last night when McMahon and McIntyre viciously attacked Lance Anoa’i, a cousin of Roman’s. When “The Best in The World” took things a little too far by locking on a second triangle hold post-match, The Big Dog came to his cousin’s aid, taking McIntyre out with a Superman Punch that staggered The Scottish Terminator but gave McMahon an opening to escape by the skin of his teeth.

Now that Shane McMahon has crossed another line by going after Roman’s family, how will The Big Dog respond?

Can R-Truth make it through another night as 24/7 Champion?

It’s been a rough week for 24/7 Champion R-Truth. Despite his best efforts to hide from his fellow Superstars, Truth has yet to have a peaceful moment since dethroning Robert Roode for the title. It was no different when he made his way to Raw last night for The Usos’ block party.

R-Truth got rolled up and nearly lost the title on several occasions, but he once again ran off into the night as a cadre of Superstars gave chase. Will it once again be #RunTruthRun on SmackDown LIVE, or will a new 24/7 Champion be crowned?

— There’s not much announced for tonight’s 205 Live:

Is Tozawa the next challenger?

At WWE Money in the Bank, Tony Nese’s incredible 2019 continued with a successful WWE Cruiserweight Championship defense against another Superstar who was previously undefeated this year – Ariya Daivari. Keeping his reputation as a fighting champion, The Premier Athlete was once again in search of his next challenger. Of course, there is no shortage of hungry contenders vying for a title opportunity, and that was evidenced by the Fatal 5-Way Match that took place last week.

Believing his loss at WWE Money in the Bank was a fluke, Daivari competed against Akira Tozawa, Oney Lorcan, Mike Kanellis and The Brian Kendrick, as each Superstar looked to prove they were more than ready to battle Nese. The contest was undoubtedly a showcase of five of the top competitors in the Cruiserweight division, and there was no shortage of thrills and ovations from the WWE Universe as the action reached breathtaking intensity.

However, the chaotic nature of the match gave Tozawa the opportunity to steal Daivari’s momentum in the final moments and roll up The Persian Lion for the victory.

With an impressive victory against four of the division’s best, has The Stamina Monster proven he’s ready for another title opportunity?

Tune in to WWE 205 Live, tonight at 10/9 C, streaming on the award-winning WWE Network.
