Jim Ross Not Planning To Attend WrestleMania, Will WWE Misuse Nakamura?

WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross recently updated the Q&A section at his official website, JRsBarBQ.com. Below are some highlights where “Good Ole’ JR” comments on the way WWE has been booking Brock Lesnar, if he expects WWE so mishandle Shinsuke Nakamura, Jerry Lawler returning to his heel commentator role, his plans for WrestleMania 32 and more.

On if he feels WWE’s booking of Brock Lesnar has been less than ideal:

“I know that it’s hard to book any one part time to be a top star including someone as impactful as Brock. Booking is subjective and if you don’t like what you’re seeing that’s your opinion and you have the right to express yourself. I don’t have any significant issues on how Lesnar is being used at this time.”

On if he feels WWE will misuse Shinsuke Nakamura:

“I have no concerns that WWE will misuse Nakamura. However, time will tell. I suggest that you don’t worry about things that you can’t control especially pro wrestling creative.”

On his thoughts on Jerry Lawler going back to being a heel color commentator:

“You may be in the minority on this one as most fans that I’ve heard from love King’s renewed antagonist slant on his broadcasting role.

On doing radio in the past for WWE and working with Gorilla Monsoon:

“Radio WWF wasn’t any thing special but merely Gorilla Monsoon and I broadcasting WWF events on radio like is done with several sports. It was sort lived but I loved working with Gorilla.”

On if he plans on attending WrestleMania 32 this year:

“My schedule is loaded for Dallas but I don’t expect to attend Wrestlemania at this time. I’ve not been invited at this time and I’d enjoy attending the NXT show if possible as I did last year.”
