WWE NXT video highlights: Tuesday debut, TakeOver fallout

A new era for NXT began as the show debuted on Tuesday nights.
Last night’s TakeOver Stand & Deliver fallout edition of NXT featured NXT Champion Karrion Kross and NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez first promos since winning their titles. Kross declared that he’s now in command of NXT and vowed to defeat every single challenger until there’s no one left.
Gonzalez was interrupted by the debuting Franky Monet (formerly known as Taya Valkyrie), then SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley appeared and celebrated their title wins with Gonzalez.
A new champion was crowned as Kushida answered Santos Escobar’s open challenge and defeated him to win the NXT Cruiserweight title. New NXT Tag Team Champions MSK made their first title defense, defeating Killian Dain & Drake Maverick.
Footage of the aftermath of Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole’s unsanctioned match showed both being taken out by ambulance. As they were being wheeled into the hospital, Cole repeatedly yelled at O’Reilly and threatened him. There was also an angle last night where Cole and O’Reilly’s former Undisputed Era stablemate Roderick Strong said he’s “done” with NXT and handed in his resignation.
Plus, an eight-person tag match headlined the show, Leon Ruff faced Isaiah “Swerve” Scott in a grudge match, and Mercedes Martinez took on Jessi Kamea.
