New AEW World Tag Team Champions Crowned on Dynamite

For the first time in All Elite Wrestling history, one of the company’s championships have changed hands.

Kenny Omega and Hangman Page, two men whose go back years as members of The Elite, defeated SoCal Uncensored on AEW Dynamite to become the new world tag team champions. The match was filmed earlier in the week aboard Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Rager At Sea.

This is an interesting development for the character of Hangman Page, who in recent weeks has been depicted as pulling away from the core Elite group, and possibly even developing a drinking problem. That said, he did score the pinfall in tonight’s tag team match, winning the titles for him and Omega.
