THE VOTE IS IN! Has WWE Legend Glenn Jacobs Become the ‘Big Red Mayor’ of Knox County?

With the polls now closed across the state of Tennessee, local ABC news affiliate WATE-TV is officially calling the race for Knox County Mayor in favor of WWE Superstar Glenn Jacobs, better known for more than two decades as the masked monster, Kane.

Early voters and absentee ballot results have been tallied, and while the final numbers are still being collected the nearly 2-to-1 deficit makes it official – the “Big Red Machine” is now the Big Red Mayor! In fact, the future Hall of Famer has already addressed the media and his team of dedicated workers this evening at the Crowne Plaza – and yes, in case you’re wondering, Kane did in fact make his very first walk to the podium while his signature WWE theme song played over the speakers.
