– Earlier today the Impact roster had a meeting led by Sonjay Dutt to discuss the recent attacks that have been happening backstage. The talent are informed that the company has informed local law enforcement, and there is an ongoing investigation to figure out who is behind the assaults.

ELI DRAKE vs. SCOTT STEINER

The two talked a little bit of trash before things got started, arguing over whose fault it was that they lost the Impact World Tag Team Championships. Drake takes control with some simple offense, hitting a few body slams and shoulder tackles, but Steiner explodes off the mat with a clothesline to even the odds. They brawled to the outside and Poppa Pump tossed his opponent into the barricade with some of the slowest Irish whips ever. Drake grabbed a steel chair and the referee went out after him, allowing Steiner to catch him with a huge belly-to-belly suplex sending him flying across the ring. A second suplex connects, but he only got two. The veteran dodged a springboard moonsault and tried to set up for the Steiner Recliner, but Drake rolled out of the ring to avoid the submission. The ref tried to back of Steiner and got shoved down on accident, allowing Eli to smack his opponent with the steel chair from earlier, roll into the ring and pick up the three-count.
