‘Austin Powers’ Legend & Former WWE RAW Guest Host Verne Troyer Dead at 49

We are saddened to report that actor and comedian Verne Troyer, best known for his role as “Mini-Me” in the cult classic Austin Powers franchise, has passed away at the age of 49. Troyer left his mark on the WWE Universe in 2009 as one of the many celebrity guest hosts of Monday Night RAW during a somewhat infamous and experimental era of television, and later returned to film content for the WWE archives discussing his time as host of the flagship show.

A cause of death has not been released at this time, although TheWrap.com is reporting that he was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Monday, April 2nd after emergency medical personnel responded to a 911 call from his North Hollywood home.
