Dijon want €10m for Alfred Gomis, who is Rennes’ priority

L’Équipe report that Senegalese shot-stopper Alfred Gomis, currently plying his trade for Dijon, remains the goalkeeper priority for Rennes, who are selling Édouard Mendy to Chelsea.

DFCO really don’t want to sell, but have set a tentative asking price of €10m, for a player that they signed for €1m last summer. The player’s agent, Giovanni Branchini, is currently seeking to find an agreement between the two clubs.

Branchini quite likes the idea of Gomis continuing at Dijon this season and has therefore offered another client, Torino shot-stopper Salvatore Sirigu, to the Brittany side. But the ex-PSG man is 33 and SRFC want a younger player.
