AS Monaco in talks for Franck Kanouté (Pescara)

RMC Sport report that Ligue 1 side AS Monaco are in talks over the possible signing of 21-year-old deep-lying midfielder Franck Kanouté, who has spent this season on loan at Cosenza from Pescara.

ASM feel that they will need to strengthen in this area to combat the departure of Tiémoué Bakayoko, who the club have decided not to activate their option to buy for.

Talks have already begun for the Senegalese, but it is not yet clear in which ballpark ASM are negotiating the fee.
